What is Dhainik’s cancellation policy?

Dhainik cancellation policy allows you to cancel any product that you purchased on our platform, before it gets shipped. This includes items purchased on sale as well. Any amount paid will be refunded using the same mode of payment that was used to make the purchase. For Cash on Delivery, We will refund the amount to your bank account mentioned during cancellation.

How can I cancel my order?

If you have ordered more than one item, it is possible to cancel part of your order with item/item(s) provided that the order was placed within 24 hours of cancellation.

How Do I Cancel An Order?

Follow these steps to cancel an order you made:

  • On the website Dhainik.com, go to ‘My Orders’ page under your account and click on ‘View order’ against the order you wish to cancel.
  • Against the item you wish to cancel, click on ‘Cancel This Item’
  • Complete the cancellation form and submit your request

Once you complete this process, you will receive an acknowledgment for product cancellation on the web page and an email denoting confirmation of the same.

When will I receive my refund, once I cancel my order?

If you have made the payment by COD, then you’ll receive the refund to your bank account within 5-7 days of order cancellation. In case of other modes of payment, including debit card/ credit card payment, net-banking, e-wallet, etc., the amount will get refunded to the same source of payment within 5-7 working days.

Can I cancel part of my order?

Yes. You can cancel part of your order. Please ensure that your cancellation request is made before the item(s) is shipped. You can view the shipping status on the ‘Orders’ page.

After how many attempts of delivery will the order get automatically cancelled?

Dhainik reserves the right to automatically cancel your order in the rare case of the delivery executive not being able to reach out to you in 2 attempts of delivery. This could be owing to you providing us with the wrong address or wrong contact details.

Returns Policy

What is Dhainik’s return policy? How does it work?

Dhainik allows you to return any product you purchased from the brand if you are not entirely satisfied by it. You can make a return request for a product anytime within 15 days of purchase. You will be needed to make sure that the product is preserved in its original condition with all tags intact.

Once you have submitted your ‘returns’ request, our logistics partner will get in touch with regard to the date & time of pick-up. We arrange for pick-up from most of our customer locations. In case we are unable to pick up the item from your location, you can ship it to our warehouse. We will reimburse the shipping charges against the original receipt.

How to make a return request?

Follow these steps to make a return request:

  • On the website Dhainik.com, go to ‘My Orders’ page under your account
  • Click on the Order ID that contains the product you wish to return. Adjacent to the order details you will find a ‘Return’ button on the top right corner, which you are required to click.
  • Next, you will be asked to select a reason from the drop-down menu for requesting the return. You are also required to mention the preferred mode of return.
  • Once you fill in these details, click ‘Submit’ and your return request will be successfully registered.
  • You will get confirmation for the same on the website as well as a confirmation email to your registered email ID.
How can I check the status of a returned item?

Follow these steps to check the status of a returned item:

  • On the website Dhainik.com, go to ‘My Orders’ page under your account
  • Click on the order item that you returned
  • You will see a message saying that your return process has been initiated, as shown below
In how many days of making the return request will the item get picked up?

Upon making a return request, your order item will be picked up within the next 2-4 days.

When will I receive my refund, once I return my order item?

Upon making a return request, a refund for your returned item will be made within 5-7 days of it reaching our warehouse, through the same mode of payment while placing the order. If you have made the payment by COD, then you’ll receive the refund to your bank account within 5-7 days.

Why has my return request been declined?

Your return request will be declined if the item you returned is found to be used or damaged .Under such an event, your item will be rejected at the pick-up point itself and your refund will not be processed.

What happens if DHAINIK cannot pick up the item from my location?

In case we can’t pick up the item from your location, you can ship it to our warehouse. We will reimburse the shipping charges against the original receipt.

  • The same mode of payment used by you to make the order. This could include debit card/ credit card payment, net-banking, e-wallet, etc.
  • If you have made the payment by COD, then you’ll receive the refund to your bank account mentioned while doing cancellation or raising a return request.
